UIP 43rd Management Report 1992

In 1992, UIP’s work and the activities of the Commission and its study groups have been strongly marked by issues related to the European Single Market. Directive 91/440, published in 1991 by the European communities, has led since 1992 to a considerable work for the adaptation of the UIC rules related to wagons P.

In addition, as for the previous years, the collaboration between UIP and UIC, more especially within the WP/RID sub-commission, was very intense and, in this context, the UIC/UIP joint working group meeting, which took place in October in Avignon, is of particular importance.

The internal UIP working groups composed of experts from different countries and different fields have done a successful work.
