UIP 20th Management Report 1969

In an increasing competitive context between the different modes of transport, the use of private wagons, sustained by the current growth of the European economy, was satisfactory. However, results were different depending on the sectors.

Fleet modernisation programmes continued to take place as planned in all the countries.

Collaboration between the UIC and the UIP was good. This was also the case with other international organisations in which the UIP strengthened its representation.
