RECORDINGS Webinar RENEW – up to date on digital rail freight

Launched in November 2023 in cooperation with our member association VPI Germany, the webinar format ‘’ Renew – Up to date on digital rail freight “ seeks to tackle the question of how and what is being done on a European level to achieve digital, automated and connected rail freight in Europe.

The webinar informs the interested audience in regular intervals on the status quo and updates on actions & initiatives whose goal is to transform rail freight.

The idea is to actively shape and advance the digital transformation in rail freight transport through intensive dialogue and the targeted dissemination of information. UIP believes that a common understanding paves the way for innovation and progress in rail freight transport. One major focus is on the Digital Automatic Coupling, a crucial enabler for future-oriented development steps. But “Renew” goes further – with the big picture in mind it also looks at other digital innovations that will sustainably increase the performance of the overall system.
