Keepers’ Summit 2026: “More action, less talking”

UIP in cooperation with its Polish member association SWP welcomed 100 rail freight stakeholders from around Europe to its annual flagship conference – the ‘Keepers’ Summit’ – on 29 May 2026 in Krakow, Poland.

The event focused on the strategic role of Poland—Europe’s second-largest rail freight market—in the TEN-T network and the broader challenges facing European intermodal transport during a difficult economic period for the sector. Discussions centered on the critical need to transition from discussion to action by modernizing infrastructure, reducing bureaucracy, overcoming capacity and terminal bottlenecks, and integrating technical innovations. The conference also highlighted the growing impact of diversity through the “Women in Rail” initiative.
