UIP 2nd Management Report 1951

The first Ordinary General Meeting of the Union Internationale des Propriétaires de Wagons was held on the 16th April of 1951 in Attisholz-Soleure ; all the UIP Members were represented. Management report, as well as 1951 annual accounts, were approved unanimously after the report presentation by the auditors.

Provisionally and until a decision taken on this issue, the General Assembly admitted as members several important private companies situated in countries where there is currently no association.

Articles 11, 12, 14 and 15 were amended in order to change the Board Committee’s composition and functioning, in particular regarding the Presidency and the possibility to increase the number of members by one or two.
