UIP 21th Management Report 1970

Railway administrations’ effort continued in 1970 in order to modernise their methods of train exploitation and towards a more efficient service. This effort focused on looking for a more dynamic commercial organisation in light of competition from other modes of transport. This effort was developed in a climate conducive to industrial expansion.
