UIP 24th Management Report 1973

Like in 1972, the need for private wagons from the user industry was satisfied. For certain kinds of wagons, the excess was even more important than during the previous years. Regarding the new production consistent with the need, a decline was observed for the tank wagons intended for the carriage of flammable liquids whereas an even larger number of tank wagons intended for the carriage of chemicals were put on the market.

A large number of car transporters and hopper wagons were also put on the market.
