UIP 44th Management Report 1993

In 1993, the work of UIP, i.e. the activities of the Management Committee, of the Commission and its study groups have been strongly marked by the impact assessments on the application of the directive CE 91/440 regarding the creation of a European railway market.

The activities carried out in 1993 showed once more that over the years the main tasks of the UIP and the collaboration with the UIC have evolved from an originally purely technical and legal work to a political and commercial work.
